Why Mindfulness?

Since you're here, chances are you have this desire within to experience your life in another way than you do right now.  You may know what you'd like more of in your life - a feeling of joy, connection, clarity, deeper meaning - but you can't seem to settle the mind and body to get there.

Maybe you've felt stressed and stretched and beyond your capacity to find the stillness you know you need to find your center. You may be overwhelmed by events in your life, and in the world, and feel powerless to know how to influence them.

You've also likely heard something about mindfulness in the media, or from a friend, and you're curious to know how it might impact your life.  You may believe somewhere that it "might not work for you", but you can't help but wonder if this is something that could change how you experience your life.

The 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course is an evidence-based, time-honored program, developed to introduce people to the theory and practice of mindfulness in a group setting and through a progressive curriculum.

Hi, I'm Karine!       

A native-English speaking meditation and certified mindfulness teacher, and Somatic Experiencing® practitioner-in-training.  I'm also a mother of two with my husband, and a dedicated life-long student of what being human is all about. I'm devoted to the idea that an exploration of our humanity through mindfulness practices is the greatest adventure a person can experience.

I facilitate this perspective for others and inject some fun into the whole project! Find out below what others have said!
